Master the scheduling, inventory, labor, and purchasing costs of tools (dies) and components.

Initiate

  • Master list of dies and tool components, including job cross references.
  • Oversight of tool builds using a bill of materials, including option to import from CAD.
  • Capture of tool build and repair costs through detailed labor tracking and purchasing links.
  • Tool repair schedule integrated and timed with production needs.

Progress

  • Full tool crib inventory, including purchases, receipts, issues, with bar code options.
  • Die location tracking and detailed field maintenance for OSHAA.
  • Maintenance and forwarding of die setup parameters for production use at the press.
  • Full integration with preventive maintenance (link here Patrick to shop maintenance) and incident tracking.

Deliver

  • Post production run tool evaluation using wireless tablets, forwarding maintenance and repair instructions to the tool room.
  • Shop drawing to open order import functions to facilitate order management.
  • Reporting on purchasing and labor costs, including customer billing and historical tracking for future quotes.
